She believes in the best of people and of the world as a whole. While this has, of course, been dampered slightly by the war, it still remains. This might be seen as naïve, but she is always alert, so it doesn’t get her into trouble. She is also extremely curious. This is what has gotten her into trouble, through her constant experimentation, magical and otherwise. She tends towards spying, but never with malicious intent. She keeps information on many people, but keeps it to herself. She is bubbly and outgoing, so she always kept many friends wherever she went. Despite the fact that some people were wary of her, since she always seemed to know everything, few could really resist her happy but slightly odd nature. History: Lexine was an only child born into a very loving family. He father was a banker and her mother stayed home with her. She was always a very curious child, even when she was very young. Her parents always had to keep things out of her reach, for fear of things being destroyed. She never meant to destroy anything, however. On the contrary, she was a very bubbly and well-meaning child. Her parents knew this and tried to encourage her in her endeavors, without sustaining too much damage. Lexine did very well in school when she was young, but she was unassumingly intelligent. She tended to hide her smarts well, not so much because she meant to but because her frequent accidents led some to believe she was not all that bright. What they didn’t realize is that it was mostly the boredom of being done with everything else that led her to accidents. She was generally well liked, and loved to talk to other students to uncover their secrets. She wasn’t a gossip, however, since she only wanted to know for her own benefit. She began to show magical ability in her very early years, but she mostly kept quiet about it, preferring to think of it as her own little secret. Her parents noticed, of course, but had no explanation for it. Nevertheless, they were very surprised when she was 11 and received the letter accepting her into Hogwarts. They had no idea about her being a witch, and were a little reluctant sending her to the school. Eventually they realized it was for the best. Lexine flourished at Hogwarts, and she became very popular despite her eccentricities. She is not quite the typical Ravenclaw, but her intelligence and need for knowledge got her sorted in there. Her favorite place to frequent in Hogwarts was the library; she was always trying to peak at the books off limit to students. Quite a few of them she managed to look at, much to the chagrin of Madam Pince. Her other favorite hobby at Hogwarts was careful investigation of the other students, much in the same way she had at Muggle school. People talked, and Lexine listened faithfully. | |||||||||
